A story about a starfish who fixed a problem that still exists today

Stars…they aren’t just in the sky. What if I told you that they could be found underwater? One in particular, a star named Bright, had gone on a huge adventure. Bright’s luminescent skin, a bright blue color, experienced life in green seaweed under smooth blue water. During the night, the sky would turn darker and darker, as some small and white dots became whiter and whiter. One day, this usual routine stopped, the sky was just dark. Bright was determined to get to the bottom of this problem.

Bright moved forward towards the surface of the water, until she came in contact with something she wasn’t familiar with. It was gray and had a rough texture. Bright moved forward… and then…

Vroom!

Bright felt a strong push of wind against her face. She clung on to the surface as much as she could as much as she could have managed to hold on. Bright was struck with fear.

Bright pushed forward and just made it over that rough surface and into a lush green wonderland… but that didn’t last for long. Bright soon fell into a loud, scenic, and shining environment, with stars sprinkling around them. Bright knew - she was at the place she had been searching for. The bright blue star looked up, and saw blinding lights up in the sky. However, they were not the natural, small glowing bright lights. These lights were much more vast and almost gave her an unpleasant stare.

Bright reluctantly moved forward. After some time she looked up and saw another skyrocketing building, with a floating sign on it saying: “The Power House, Sources of Energy!” Bright resorted to entering the building, as scary as it was. Once the doors opened, there was a big red sign on a door in front of her that said ‘DO NOT OPEN’ Ignoring the warning, she slipped in and then saw a huge red lever in the corner of the room. Unable to fight her own impulse, Bright pulled it. Immediately, all the lights in the city went blank. Slowly, Bright saw tall, standing creatures with pale skin emerging from other buildings, walking with two legs…
