I walk along the shore

Sand between my toes.

Water crashes and splashes

Waves drift back and forth.

The ocean brings peace to my mind

Although it keeps its secrets.

We have explored miles deep

But not enough to know what it seeks.

Creatures of all sizes

Mighty walls divide it.

I wonder what those walls may see

In the dark so very deep.
