Free time, hiking, games, bunk beds, and sleeping in a cabin
Marin Headlands will literally be the three most funnest days of your life.
When you are in middle school, specifically 6th grade you will have to have the chance to go to Marin Headlands. This is located near the other side of the golden gate bridge, and it is next to the beach. On this trip you will get to go hiking up really tall mountains. When I went I hiked for 1 hour to get to the peak, and it was really chilly up there. I got to take pictures, and I got to see new plants, and animals along the way that we tracked in our journals.
After one long day of adventuring you get to have 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time. When I had free time I would usually play soccer with all of my friends. Some people would go down to the beach, and some would go to the basketball court.
The dinner, and breakfast over there was amazing. We got waffles, pancakes, lasagna, mac n cheese, tacos, and much more amazing, and delicious foods. We had a big campfire at the end of each day where we went to hear stories, and play, or hear music.
On the second day we went to the lighthouse next to the beach, and near the San Francisco Bay. We went to see many seagulls along the way, and saw many seals too. We also got to see a military battery that was not in use anymore. It was used as a base for wars a long time ago. When we got back from climbing the mountain from the military battery. We went down to the beach before we got our free time again.
On the night before you have to go everyone gathers around the campfire to have a really fun time. In the morning of the last day you say goodbye, and you head back home in the charter buses back to school. This was the funnest three days for me, and it will be the funnest three days when you are in sixth grade.
