Popcorn, Boba, & Memories

I walked down the path to the front gate, my little sister and parents walking slowly behind me. As I neared the front gate the smell of popcorn and the sound of pop music hit me in the face like a wrecking ball! 

I skipped happily through the gate and ran to the ticket booth. My parents and lil’ sis finally caught up with me and after we checked in I spotted one of my best friends, Jenna! I raced over to the popcorn booth where she was standing and said hi. After we chatted for a bit we decided to go check out the games. We played the ring toss, the duck fishing game, and many more. Along the way we met up with my other BFF’s, Anne, Mira, Juha, and Edith. 

After we played some carnival games me and some of my friends decided to get some boba. We got some money from our parents and raced over to the stand. After we had ordered we walked around and went to the cookie walk. We saw a couple of our friends and played a couple rounds. 

Finally after we walked for a while we left. I went over to the prize table and got a prize for 8 tickets! After I played a few more rounds of the Cookie Walk and one more game of football it was time to  go. I walked out of the gate with happy memories trailing behind me. A cool breeze wrapped around my shoulders and the sound of pop music faded as I reached my car. Only one thought was on my mind as we drove away. I couldn’t wait to go back next year!
