Going to Outdoor Ed

Last year, in fifth grade, I went to outdoor ed. Many people were sad because they had bad shower schedules, although my cabin got the best shower schedule. The food was actually very good and on the last day we got cake.
On, I think, the second day I started to feel weird when I went into the cafeteria. I felt like everything was zoomed out, think of a 0.5 photo on an iphone. I felt like I was playing from a 3rd person perspective but while being 1st person. Everything felt muted yet also so vibrant. I think it was just me adjusting to the bright likes in the cafeteria. Somedays, mostly at volleyball games, I get the same feeling, but much more mild.
We went with Sandpiper, and our groups were mixed in with them. We had stuff like beach day, a dance thing, and skits. We had night activities which changed, I think, everyday, the activities were stuff like dancing and learning about the ocean. We shared cabins with our groups. The girls got the modern cabins and the boys got the older ones, but it switches every year.
Every night we barely slept because we were always laughing. On the car ride home and there we always talk. When we were driving home, me and my best friend started singing “99 bottles of beer on the wall,” we started at 100 and ended at 0. During the last ten bottles even the teachers joined.
